Interns in Representative Maria D. Robinson’s office are integral members of the team and work closely with staff to support the Representative’s goals of governmental transparency, advocacy for public schools, and fighting climate change. This internship is the perfect primer for anyone looking to learn more about the legislative process, state government, and constituent services.

Intern responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Intern research projects on legislation, policy, and district issues

  • Drafting testimony for bills

  • Attending committee hearings, issue briefings, and formal House sessions

  • Inputting casework requests and legislative comments

  • Community news updates
